Spotify's AI DJ feature now supports French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese, expanding to more than 75 countries

Spotify announced on Thursday that its interactive AI DJ feature supports four additional languages: French, German, Italian, and Brazilian Portuguese. The feature was previously available only in English and Spanish.

The AI DJs have different names and personalities for each language: Maia, Ben, Alex, and Dani. Users can interact with the AI DJ to request songs and receive AI-powered spoken commentary, and in May 2025 the company added the ability for users to chat with the AI DJ and make requests to change the mood or genre.

The AI DJ is now available in more than 75 countries, including newly supported regions: Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, South Korea, and Switzerland.
