Ailytics addresses a common problem in heavy industries: many sites already have cameras, but footage is typically reviewed only after an accident. By applying computer vision and vision-language models to existing CCTV, Ailytics aims to shift safety management from reactive to proactive. The company spent five years training its models to perform under challenging conditions such as rain, dust, poor lighting, and old cameras. In June, it introduced AilyssaX, a context reasoning engine that improves alert accuracy by processing motion scenes in context. Most sites go live within two weeks. The Series A round was oversubscribed and included a major Japanese construction company, family offices, and existing investors. Tin Men Capital, which also led the $2.7 million pre-Series A in April 2024, continues to back the company. Safie's investment through its CVC builds on an April memorandum of understanding between the two firms. Safie supplies products to 29 of Japan's top 30 large construction companies, and Japan is one of Ailytics' priority markets.
