Infor releases AI orchestration tools as study reveals most businesses stuck scaling AI beyond experiments

Infor, an enterprise software company, rolled out upgrades to its Velocity Suite product line and made a new Agentic Orchestrator tool available in limited form during its April release. An agent is an AI system that makes decisions and takes actions on its own, without human intervention for each step.

The Agentic Orchestrator helps businesses chain multiple AI tasks together automatically—so instead of manually handing outputs from one AI tool to another, the system coordinates the work end-to-end. This matters because Infor's own research found that many companies can run AI pilots successfully but struggle to scale those pilots into production across their whole operation.
