PayClaw launches gasless USDC wallet for AI agents — removes transaction fees that previously blocked autonomous software from handling money

ONSARI released PayClaw, a wallet system that lets AI agents (software that makes decisions and takes actions on its own) hold and spend USDC stablecoins (digital dollars) without paying blockchain transaction fees. The tool works with 12 different AI frameworks and is available open-source on GitHub.

Instead of charging per transaction like traditional crypto wallets, PayClaw batches multiple agent payments together and distributes the cost across them — the same way ride-sharing splits a trip fee among passengers. This cuts per-transaction costs from dollars to cents, making it economical for an AI agent to handle micropayments or frequent small transfers.

Developers building AI agents that need to pay for services (APIs, data, compute time) can now build those payments directly into the agent's decision-making without worrying about fees eating into margins. Previously, transaction costs made it impractical for autonomous software to handle money — now a chatbot or scheduling agent could autonomously purchase and pay for the tools it needs.
