What happened
At GTC Berlin, Jensen Huang announced the DSX Pod, a modular 'AI factory' shipped pre-assembled in a large metal container with Vera Rubin compute racks, online in 14 days.
Why it matters
The plug-and-play design is pitched at Europe's notoriously slow infrastructure projects and could cut the time compute sits idle in a data center, which Huang called 'a complete transformation.'
WHO IT HITSThis lands on European data-center operators and infrastructure teams, who face notoriously slow construction timelines, and on robotics developers who will be able to start from a preconfigured reference robot rather than building a physical AI stack from scratch.

Huang's Berlin keynote marked a shift in emphasis from the prior GTC in San Jose, California, in March, which was all about AI inference and more efficient compute. Seven months later, the focus has switched to power, agents, and physical AI, with the DSX Pod as the headline hardware announcement.
The pitch is tailored to a European audience. Huang noted that infrastructure projects there are notoriously slow, and argued the DSX Pod would also slash the amount of time compute sits idle in a data center because it comes online quicker. Beyond data centers, he said humanoid robotics will be the 'next great industry' and argued Europe was well-placed to lead on it due to its manufacturing heritage, while also announcing partnerships with European carmakers VW and Mercedes on AVs.
Huang also weighed in on how companies will use AI models, predicting that every company in the future will use both closed models and open models that they customize. He said agents' reasoning, iteration, and tool use are pushing token consumption and demand for computing—and Nvidia GPUs—higher. The 90-minute speech ended with an AI-generated Eurovision song summarizing the announcements.
