Slack launches 30+ AI features for Slackbot, marking its biggest update since Salesforce's $27.7 billion acquisition in 2021

Slackbot transforms from a simple chatbot into a full enterprise agent capable of taking meeting notes, operating outside Slack on desktops, and executing tasks through third-party tools via Model Context Protocol (MCP)

The update includes lightweight CRM functionality for small businesses and requires no new installations from users

Announcement comes just 3 months after Slackbot became generally available on January 13 to Business+ and Enterprise+ subscribers, and is on track to become Salesforce's fastest-adopted product
