SuperVoiceMode is a free macOS 14+ application offering on-device speech-to-text dictation activated by holding Option + Shift, delivering cleaned text to the cursor in under two seconds, with no audio leaving the user's machine.

The tool includes Iris, a named AI assistant with personality and voice, plus 30+ bundled personas (character variations) that can be layered to shift how the assistant sounds while preserving its core identity.

All processing—speech-to-text, correction, and character voices—runs locally on the user's machine; when integrated with an AI service, the user controls their API keys and data, and the company states it never sees audio or request content.
