Humanoid partners with Bosch for scaled production of HMND 01 humanoid robots following successful proof of concept in March 2026

Humanoid, a UK-based AI and robotics company, has entered a manufacturing agreement with Bosch to produce HMND 01 humanoid robots for the European market. The partnership follows a joint proof of concept in March 2026 in which HMND 01 robots autonomously transferred boxes from conveyors to trolleys in a dynamic logistics environment at Bosch's facility in Bühl, Germany, handling 5 different box sizes across varying heights and weights.

Humanoid's proprietary AI framework, KinetIQ, orchestrated the proof of concept and demonstrated the platform's technical readiness and scalability in a complex industrial workflow. Bosch will serve as contract manufacturing partner while providing strategic oversight through a Design for Excellence framework covering hardware design, production, supply chain, and cost optimization.

The two companies aim to transition from prototype validation to volume manufacturing for industrial settings. The partnership also includes exploration of integrating Bosch technologies—actuators, drives, sensors, and other components—into future versions of the HMND 01 platform.
