KPMG embeds Anthropic's Claude AI into Digital Gateway platform, starting with tax and private equity clients

KPMG has integrated Claude into Digital Gateway, its global technology platform built on Microsoft Azure, enabling clients to build agentic workflows (AI systems that make decisions and complete tasks autonomously) directly within the environment.

The initial rollout focuses on tax teams and private equity firms; in the US, KPMG will embed Claude into PE-focused products and jointly develop new Claude-based tools for portfolio companies. The companies also plan to embed cybersecurity, risk and AI assurance into the design of AI tools.

KPMG's 276,000 employees will gain access to the Claude suite, extending use beyond existing deployments in US Advisory, AI and Data Labs and enterprise support teams over the two years.
