ESET HOME Security V20 arrives as generative AI becomes a routine part of collecting information and drafting text, which the two companies cite as the reason for new protections. The AI Conversation Security feature inspects URLs and code that a generative AI presents, guarding against fraudulent sites and phishing, and runs when browser-based ChatGPT is used on Windows, though only in the Premium and Ultimate tiers. Two further additions, AI Agent Security and AI Behavior Monitoring, check the safety of files handled by AI agents and watch for suspicious agent behavior.
The release also extends coverage across devices. A new ESET Mobile Security for iOS app, equipped with anti-fraud functions, is set to be published once it receives App Store approval and isiPhone-only. Combined with existing Windows, macOS and Android support, the companies say this lets families check the protection status of their devices together through ESET HOME.
Pricing spans three tiers for the new download versions: Essential at 4,750 yen for one device and one year, Premium at 5,940 yen for one device and one year, and Ultimate at 14,260 yen for five devices and one year. Three-year options are available, and Essential and Premium also come in monthly and three- or five-device versions, while Ultimate is sold only as a download.
