Exa Enterprise AI, a group company of Exawizards, is adding Anthropic's newest model to its enterprise generative AI service. The move brings Claude Haiku 5.5 to Japanese business users through Exabase AI, which the company says holds the top market share among third-party conversational generative AI applications for enterprises, according to a Fuji Chimera Research Institute survey for fiscal 2024.
The model is positioned for tasks where speed and volume matter: summarization, classification, and customer-facing responses. It also introduces a tuning feature, a first for the Haiku series, that lets users balance speed against accuracy, and it can be used for PC operation tasks such as browser control. Enhanced safety measures are applied for cybersecurity compared with the prior model.
The update suggests enterprise AI offerings in Japan are increasingly competing on access to the latest models and on practical tuning for real-time business use, rather than on model development alone.
