A Zenn walkthrough shows how Agent Script, announced at Dreamforce 2025 and in public beta since November 2025, builds a Salesforce employee agent from three subagents — an account summary, visit prep, and the standard User Memory Management.
Why it matters
The walkthrough's premise is that writing 'always' in a prompt does not guarantee the step runs. Moving the deterministic parts into code lets developers keep recurring behavior identical on every run, while leaving the flexible parts to the model.

Agent Script's proposed split is not a new idea so much as a response to a specific failure mode the walkthrough opens with: a prompt that says "always confirm the account first" can still be skipped. The answer is to draw a line — leave the unpredictable parts to the model, and write the parts that must behave the same every time in code. Agent Script, announced at Dreamforce 2025 and in public beta since November 2025, is presented as the language for drawing that line.
The walkthrough's example is an Agentforce Employee Agent, distinguished from the customer-facing Agentforce Service Agent; the intended users are sales reps and similar staff. Its three subagents are an account summary, visit prep, and the standard User Memory Management subagent, with the account summary pulling open opportunities, open ToDos, and activities from the past three months through a flow.
The guidance leans on a small set of mechanics: keeping state in variables rather than in the model's memory, deciding transitions between subagents in code, and running processing before and after reasoning. One detail it flags as quietly useful is storing the name of the subagent that just handled a request, so the router can send a short follow-up like "tell me more" back to the same subagent instead of guessing. The five tips it lists are how-to guidance rather than a product announcement, but they sketch where Salesforce expects these agents to be pinned down and where flexibility is still allowed.
