Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says companies should pay workers 'as much as possible'

Huang made the statement Tuesday at a news conference in Taipei during Computex, where he was asked about Samsung Electronics' recent union agreement that makes around 60 percent of Samsung's domestic workforce eligible to receive a bonus of roughly $330,000 this year.

Huang said he pays his own employees 'as much as I can', though he noted 'that's just what I do. It doesn't make this right.' He added he is 'not an expert' in labor disputes.

Nvidia's stock price has risen more than 1,170 percent over the past five years, making many employees holding stock options millionaires practically overnight.
