John Deere announces model year 2027 updates to 6R and 6M tractor lineups with new transmission, cab controls, and loader technology

John Deere has updated its 6R and 6M tractor lineups for model year 2027, adding a new e19 powershift transmission, redesigned CommandArm and CommandX controls, and a new loader with integrated weight sensing and position awareness.

The 6R Series includes 15 models across four frame sizes with Intelligent Power Management that can provide up to 40 additional horsepower, bringing the 6R 260 to a maximum of 305 horsepower. Both lineups now feature built-in connectivity, over-the-air software updates, and precision agriculture technology.

The 6M Series gains access to technologies previously associated with larger Deere machines, including the e19 powershift transmission, integrated connectivity, and precision agriculture capabilities, with options to add the G5 CommandCenter display and CommandX drive lever based on operational needs.
