Honeywell expands OT Cybersecurity Suite with five new capabilities including AI-powered threat detection and secure data transfer for industrial environments.

Honeywell announced expansion of its Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Suite with five new capabilities: Secure Media Exchange (SMX) Portable Scanner for USB and removable media threats, Cyber Proactive Defense (CPD) platform for AI-powered OT monitoring, Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) for automated audit reporting, a data diode for one-way data transfer, and an expanded managed OT Security Operations Center (SOC) service with 24/7 monitoring.

The CPD platform uses advanced analytics and real-time monitoring to correlate alerts across process and automation systems, helping organizations identify and prioritize threats before they escalate into operational incidents. The GRC tool automates evidence collection and audit reporting through AI and machine learning.

According to The World Economic Forum's annual Global Cybersecurity Outlook, only 32% of organizations with industrial environments actively monitor OT systems, and just 20% maintain dedicated OT security teams. Honeywell states the expanded suite is designed to help organizations move beyond reactive security models and adopt a unified, forward-looking approach to cyber resilience.

The comprehensive expansion is available now and is engineered for deployment across manufacturing, energy, and critical infrastructure sectors.
