The PDB features 16 GaNFast FETs rated at 650 V, 11 mOhms, in a DFN8×8 dual-cooled package, achieving 97.5% peak efficiency at 1 MHz switching frequency with 2100 W/in³ power density. It eliminates the need for a traditional 48 V intermediate bus converter stage, and is approximately 20% thinner than a mobile phone.
According to Navitas CEO Chris Allexandre, the collaboration enables megawatt-scale AI server racks with higher power density, smaller system footprint, and improved thermal performance to support next-generation AI data centers.
