What happened
LeapAI released the first 'AI Consultant on Tour' episode on September 30, 2026, showing CEO Yuki Iwata automating Trustford's appraisal intake with Claude Code in one day.
Why it matters
Trustford president Ayuki Maede, who previously could not get past using Claude Code, said the cost-effectiveness was too high and that automation he thought impossible now felt realistic.
What to watch
The result came from a full-day, on-site session with LeapAI's CEO; for firms handling customer data, the test is whether such automation can be replicated without an expert present.
WHO IT HITSReal estate brokerage owners and back-office staff who manually copy appraisal-site leads into spreadsheets may see one route to automating that intake, though the demo relied on LeapAI's CEO working on-site for a day.

LeapAI's 'AI Consultant on Tour' is built around a simple format: its CEO sits beside a business owner and implements AI on the spot. The first episode chose Trustford, a firm handling real estate sales mainly in Tokyo and Utsunomiya, and focused on its appraisal intake — requests arriving from bulk appraisal sites that staff had to check, copy, and log daily.
The Trustford side is notable for who is involved. President Ayuki Maede joined Recruit as a new graduate, handled more than 200 real estate companies in the Tokyo metropolitan area for SUUMO, then went independent. He already used Claude in chat, but said seeing a terminal screen gave him chills, so he had not adopted Claude Code. That changed during the session, when Claude identified the customer management sheet and then operated Chrome to inspect and safely modify an existing spreadsheet script.
What the episode shows is less about the tool than about how the work was handed off. Iwata had Claude Code work from a recording of Maede explaining his workflow, and told Maede that instructions could be even rougher — just state the goal and let the AI figure out the means. The one line drawn by a human was keeping internal customer information from going outside the company, which Iwata described as raising a new employee. Whether this level of result travels beyond a day-long, on-site session with an expert beside the owner is the open question.
