Robotiq launches IQ, an AI platform to automate robotic workcell integration from design to deployment

Robotiq introduced IQ, an AI-enabled platform that captures unstructured automation project data, coordinates engineering workflows, and generates validated workcell designs based on real customer inputs and historical deployment data from thousands of previous factory installations.

IQ provides three core capabilities: automated data capture (extracting requirements via voice notes, file uploads, and 3D site scanning), AI-enabled project coordination (aligning manufacturer specifications with partner capabilities and Robotiq expertise), and simulation with design validation (converting 3D scans into digital twin models to validate performance before physical deployment).

At the Robotiq User Conference 2026 this week, Robotiq demonstrated how partners can use IQ to move from initial application input to a running workcell in as little as 24 hours; IQ is currently available for robotic palletizing applications, with plans to extend to additional robotic applications over time.
