Figure AI increases Figure 03 humanoid robot production from one unit per day to one unit per hour in less than 120 days

Figure AI's BotQ manufacturing facility achieved a 24-fold increase in throughput of its Figure 03 humanoid robot, scaling production to one unit per hour. The company has produced more than 350 third-generation humanoid robots and manufactured over 9,000 actuators across more than 10 different SKUs.

The production ramp required custom manufacturing execution software across more than 150 networked workstations, more than 50 in-process inspection points, and over 80 end-of-line functional verification tests. Figure reports a 99.3 percent first-pass yield on battery production and overall robot first-pass yield rates exceeding 80 percent.

Figure framed the increase not solely as a manufacturing milestone but as a data and development milestone, stating the 24x increase represents a fundamental shift in development velocity. The company developed fleet management systems, over-the-air software update infrastructure, and failure diagnostics systems to manage humanoid robots operating in dynamic human spaces such as warehouses, factories, and offices.
